Financial Times | Bracken House
The Financial Times have relocated back to Bracken House following a full refurbishment of the grade two listed building. The new facility includes open-plan offices, meeting and conference rooms, a TV broadcasting studio, and a 250-seat restaurant.
The fit-out of the build was carried out as a turnkey delivery by the developer, Obayashi. This meant strict timescales, close collaboration, and transparency were key to the project’s success. It was essential for Elementa Consulting to be thoroughly concise and comprehensive during the planning phase of the project to ensure programme delivery would be on time, with minimal changes and disruptions during the later construction phase.
Elementa ensured a high level of resilience on all systems. Bespoke lighting designs throughout, reflect the company’s brand and history, optimising user comfort levels to encourage a collaborative working environment.
