Union Lofts

The former Perth Avenue Methodist Church, constructed in 1913, will be refurbished and added onto to create Union Lofts – a boutique loft project with just 40 units. The heritage architecture
will be harmonized with a new modern style for residential units. Integral Group was selected to provide mechanical, electrical, and energy modeling consulting services for this complex but exciting development. A geo-exchange system was confirmed to be the most energy efficient solution for a 100-year old building. Each suite will be provided with hybrid heat pumps with integrated energy recovery ventilators. Rainwater harvesting will minimize water use for the entire building.
