Kaiser Baldwin Hills Medical Office Building

This new medical office building will be constructed on an 8.6 acre parcel of land near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Marlton Avenue. The four-story, 105,000 square foot facility will feature a central plaza which will be open to the public, allowing for pedestrian traffic between the neighboring shopping center and residential neighborhood to the west.

The new medical office building is targeting LEED Platinum certification and Net Zero Energy. Sustainable design features include solar panels in various locations including the parking lots and central plaza, natural ventilation, a photovoltaic canopy as part of an architectural rooftop feature, green rooftop areas, as well as exterior walls featuring rain screen designs and spandrel glazing.
