WELL Buildings CPDs

Elementa Consulting have launched a free CPD for clients and designers giving an introduction to the new WELL Building Standard® to accompany our WELL Consulting Service and Workplace ‘Healthchecks’.

In October 2014 the WELL Building Standard® was launched in New Orleans. WELL plugs the big gaps in standards like BREEAM and LEED with an exclusive focus on achieving superior levels of health and wellbeing in the workplace. By enhancing mood, fitness, nutrition, sleep and performance WELL strategies can boost productivity and help reduce the £29 billion annual cost of sick leave in the UK. WELL offers a palette of design responses and operational strategies that are supported by rigorous medical peer review by experts from the Mayo and Cleveland Clinics. Its development has been supported by leading lights in organisations including CBRE, Google, Skanska, and the US Green Building Council – with engineers from Integral Group taking a leading role through peer review and audit for the first WELL pilot projects.
