California State Polytechnic University | Center for Science and Mathematics
The Center for Science and Mathematics consists of the new construction of a 190,000 sf teaching laboratory facility. The program includes administration, office/conference, classroom, lecture, lab and lab support rooms. The building features several innovative energy efficient design strategies including chilled beams, night purge, operable windows, 100% outside air for ventilation; and radiant heating and cooling. The project also features many water efficient strategies and a highly energy efficient lighting system that uses daylight wherever possible which results in energy efficiency of 30%.
