Institute of Reproductive Sciences
This project involved the construction of a purpose built facility for a world class fertility unit and reproductive research unit. This is the first purpose designed Clinical Research facility into IVF treatments and will be based upon German exemplar facilities.
The Oxford Fertility Unit is a national and international leader in research into fertility and the new Institute of Reproductive Science (IRS) is a cutting edge Research & Development unit as well as a teaching facility for the University of Oxford. In combination with the University, the centre will also house an MSc course for students in Reproductive Biology.
Our work on this project included: mechanical and electrical services including heating, hot and cold water, air conditioning, ventilation, above ground drainage, electrical power, lighting and data, fire alarms, medical gases and security, site services diversions, low energy and sustainability and thermal modelling.
