King’s College London Weston Education Centre

The Weston Education Centre (WEC) consisted of full refurbishment and re-ordering of the existing library facility with refurbishment of 2 Lecture Theatres, 9 Classrooms and Boardroom.

The refurbishment works to the lecture theatres involved the installation of a complete new audio visual to enhance the delivery of lectures and experience of students, incorporating features such as lecture capture, projection/display facilities, integrated lighting control, etc.

The delivery of the classrooms, lecture/seminar and group study rooms have two varying specifications depending on usage. As part of the refurbishment works we addressed the inherent overheating and acoustic issues experienced by staff and occupants within the library and lecture theatre.
