Orleans Primary School

The project involves the expansion of a 2FE Infant School and nursery to a 3 FE primary school with attached nursery. The project has been phased to allow the school to remain operational during the entire construction period with phase 1 consisting of the construction of 2 additional classrooms to the existing building with an extension to the existing main hall and refurbished kitchen area.

Phase 2 of the project entailed the creation of satellite year 4 and year 5 buildings, a new small hall with level access and renovation of the existing Nursery building to create year 6 classrooms works to the existing Victorian block also being completed. The satellite buildings were services from centralised heat generation plant with all electrical services being interconnected to the existing infrastructure.

Orleans Primary School were finalists in The Building Future Education (BFE) Awards.
